The semiconductor system industry is an industry that produces a variety of systems used to fabricate semiconductor devices including designing semiconductor integrated circuits, fabricating and processing wafers, and assembling and testing semiconductor chips.
Wonik IPS develops a system that fabricates an integrated circuit on the substrate, which is the most difficult semiconductor fabrication process, and mainly supplies thin film deposition systems. In 2014, we successfully mass-produced a mold process system, one of the key systems in 3D NAND flash, which is in high demand. In 2018, our 10 nm process DRAM High-K successfully entered the market.

In the display market, LCD TVs are becoming larger and larger, mobile phones increasingly use OLED panels, and leading Korean manufacturers and emerging Chinese panel manufacturers are increasing their investments significantly. Not only can OLED make the display flexible and foldable with its advantage of a freer form factor than LCD but it is also expected to be applied across lighting, automotive and various other areas.
In this rapidly changing display market, Wonik IPS develops and provides a thin film encapsulation system, which is required to fabricate a flexible and foldable display, as well as dry etchers in the backplane based on our outstanding technology.
