With each passing year, Wonik IPS has contributed greatly to advances in the semiconductor machinery industry with ongoing R&D and customer satisfaction. As a result of our continued R&D, we have so far filed 1,400 patent applications at home and abroad and currently own 500 registered patents. With a relentless commitment to R&D, Wonik IPS succeeded in mass-producing ALD systems in 1998 for the first time in the world and stepped up to become one of the key companies in semiconductor machinery. By successfully developing and mass-producing CVD, metal, and diffusion processes for semiconductor thin film processing, Wonik IPS plays an important role in production for semiconductor manufacturers in Korea and around the world. In addition, based on core competencies and know-how in technological development, we are jointly developing next-gen semiconductor processes and systems with semiconductor device companies.

Currently, Wonik IPS focuses its development on organic and inorganic deposition for display systems and solar cells and has reinvented itself as a general machinery company with a diversified portfolio.
