  • Business Guidelines

    Wonik IPS (the “Company”) puts a compliance program in place to establish a fair
    and transparent transaction culture in all of its transactions with suppliers. As part of such efforts, the Company sets forth Business Guidelines.
    We are hoping you can actively participate and cooperate so that we can keep our transactions fair and transparent.

    Wonik IPS shall comply with the Business Guidelines for suppliers under any circumstances.

  • Suppliers’ Code of Conduct

    Wonik IPS set forth Suppliers’ Code of Conduct to reinforce compliance,
    which serves as the basis of shared growth between the Company and suppliers, based on the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).

    Online compliance training (mandatory training)

    Wonik IPS conducts mandatory compliance training for all employees on a regular basis every year.

      Training on the importance of protecting trade secrets and on regulations for all employees based on basic theory- and case-oriented training

      Principle- and case-oriented training on Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act regarding transactions with suppliers and on internal regulations

    Conducting compliance training for new employees

    All employees should take compliance training upon joining the company.

    Conducting regular training program

    Wonik IPS provides training regarding the corresponding contents through its own training system when relevant laws or company regulations is altered to comply with compliance. In accordance with the Wonik IPS regulations, we provide regular training frequently for major relevant departments and employees that need to get training on compliance.

    If training support on code of compliance of Wonik IPS for suppliers is required, we provide compliance training on the Appreciation Day for suppliers of Wonik IPS.

    Evaluation of performance on mutual growth and efforts

    In accordance with the Act On the Promotion of Mutually Beneficial Cooperation between Large Enterprises and Small and Medium Enterprises, Wonik IPS is conducting
    ① comprehensive evaluation on mutual growth by the mutual growth committee.
    ② evaluation on implementation of fair trade agreement by the fair trade committee. In addition, we are dedicated to constructing a
    foundation for mutual growth with the suppliers by implementing improvements gradually based on the evaluation results.

  • Practices for compliance

    • Pledge of compliance

      All employees of Wonik IPS implement the pledge of compliance, and Wonik IPS stores the corresponding pledge.

    • Compliance clauses in standard contracts

      When making a contract with business partners including suppliers (business partners), clauses on compliance are stipulated in the standard contract in order to specify the obligations of business partners to comply with compliance.

    • Conducting examinations on the status of compliance

      Wonik IPS conducts examinations on the status of compliance(Laws, regulations, company rules, including prohibition of request to provide technical data under the Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act) for all employees of Wonik IPS and major business partners once a year and reports it to the management, and continues to improve practices for compliance.

    • Conflict Minerals Management Policy

      As part of economic sanctions in order to eradicate human rights violations such as human rights violations and child labor in conflict zones in Africa in order to participate in international human rights protection, Wonik IPS has designated the four major minerals (tin, tungsten, tantalum, gold) mined in conflict zones as conflict minerals and prohibits the use of conflict minerals not only for Wonik IPS but also for partner companies.

      For all employees of Wonik IPS, Wonik IPS is dedicated to taking the responsibility for the management of conflict minerals in accordance with the Code of Compliance. And for business partners, Wonik IPS is dedicated to stipulating and taking the responsibility for the prohibition of the use of conflict minerals through the Supplier's Code of Conduct.
